  The young man on reception was so helpful. We were only staying one night , Sunday 10th May, but he made us feel so welcome.

  Check in was straight forward and staff were welcoming. However on entering the room, we were hit with a pungent odour what I can only describe as old smelly socks. Room was full of stains and marks, mold in the bathroom, damaged table and damaged front door. Reported it to front desk and was told it was gonna get sorted, but no one came. Also what looked like blood stains on duvet and bed sheet, which we had to change. Currently building works outside which didnt affect our stay, just an eye sore. Hotel is dated and in need of refurbishment. Poor value for money.
